TWTW - the first of two three dayers

Friday Work work work followed by porch sitting and reading and a sunset walk to the bay with the best friend dogs.
Saturday I was up and at it early, vacuuming the apartment and couches, mopping floors, putting recycles out, watering flowers, making hard boiled eggs (in the air fryer always) and spinach dip and cutting up cheese and cucumbers. Our first renters of the year checked out in the morning, our awesome cleaning crew came through, and my brother, Aubrey and the kids arrived around noon. Stephen's friend Drew came in the afternoon and we hit the beach after my nephew got up from his nap. Snacking for dinner and a walk to the ice cream place around the corner at night.
Sunday I slept in, and we hit the beach by 10:45 and stayed there until 5:30. Frank and Amanda and Eva came down for the day and we had a great day aside from the wind. The kids played together so well and we all relaxed and had a really nice day. MFD caught a striper right where we were sitting as soon as we all left. We hit the boardwalk at night and fell out. I had my first Kohr Bros of the season and it was glorious.
Monday I was out of office, and it was another wonderfully slow start. The wind was wild so we took a long walk on the boards and my niece rode her bike up there for the first time. She did awesome! The afternoon was comprised of porch sitting and Aubrey, Lola, and I walked down Asbury to some shops. Everyone was set up well with sanitizer and masks required to enter stores. We took another boardwalk walk at night, fish tacos for dinner. All in all I walked around four miles Monday. Always a good night sleep.

Happy birthday to my BFF Michelle yesterday! Three day week for me, Mom's birthday is Friday and I'm off because she'll be down the shore starting tonight so I'm cramming five days of work into three. Let's go.

How was your weekend?
