1. Chef Paul Prudhomme's Poultry Magic. Fucking delicious, you guys. I will never use another poultry seasoning. I did switch all of my other spices to Penzey's this year and I seriously urge you to check them out as well.
2. Reusable gift bags. Environmentally friendly giving. These are not paper bags. They are actual reusable bags like you get at the store.
3. Himalayan Dog Chews. My dogs go nuts for these.
4. ACLU Gift Membership. Do you know someone that speaks to and have no idea what to get them? Boom.
5. New Year's Eve charitable donations. Every year I make donations on New Year's Eve to send the year off on a good note. There are so very many in need, and so many raising money for great causes. Find something that speaks to you and spread the love.
What are you loving lately?

ReplyDeleteWe have a ton of those reusable bags!! I'll need to check that seasoning out! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI'll have to get that seasoning for John. And the chews for Hawkeye of course.
ReplyDelete#1 is the best! Love that company, they are the best and donate seasonings to my Hogs for the Cause team! I am stealing your idea of the reusable gift bags next year, such a good idea! I am loving Belief eye cream lately, got a sample size and this old lady loves the way it makes her crows feet look!
ReplyDeleteChef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasoning Blends Seafood Magic - is EVEN BETTER!! Check it out! I love that shit but its hard to find and like $7 on Amazon!
ReplyDeleteYes to reusable gift bags! i'm always the gift bag and box police so when we're unwrapping gifts, i holler DONT TEAR THE BOX OR BAG! GIVE THEM TO ME!
ReplyDeleteI love those reusable gift bags, I use them all the time. They are the best.
ReplyDeleteYES to #5 and of course the reusable bags :-D
ReplyDeleteNeat bags - I'll have to look for those for next year, or when the paper bags I've hoarded over the years run out. I'm really loving online shopping this year - this is the earliest I've been done since ever.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of the reusable gift bags! I like to get a big one and put all the gifts in that need to travel to other homes too. And then put all our shit in that we get from other people while at said homes.
ReplyDeleteI like your NYE donation tradition. That's a great way to kick the year off.
ReplyDeleteI'm checking out those bags! And we are long-time churpi chew fans, get them on auto delivery from Chewy.com... did you know they are human grade? So if you're so inclined, chew away! Nothing in them but yak milk, lime, and salt! Yummy! And my kids and I do the big end of year donation too, in lieu of gifts. We already have everything we need. We take turns picking the cause (last year was Vince). Makes for a nice Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI need to check out those dog chews.
ReplyDeleteThe poultry seasoning sounds awesome! I'll definitely have to try it out.
ReplyDeleteLove the reusable gift bags! I can't imagine how much wrapping paper gets thrown away every year!
