Listen...can we talk about this? Every day is National Coffee Day.
Just like every day is National Dog Day. And National Best Friend Day. And National Don't Be an Asshole Day. And National Book Day. And National Grammar Day.
Some days are National Siblings Day, but only the days when my brothers text me back, which they don't always do. Rude. And I wish every day was National Hot Dog Day because I love them and I don't care what's in them or how bad they are for you.
Today is also apparently National You Need to Wash Your Hair Day, which I found out when MFD examined my hair before bed last night and said, "You're washing your hair tomorrow, right?" Right. Sometimes I push it on the hair washing days. It's nice to have a person to tell you when it's really time. Thanks, marriage.
Today is also my cousin Tyler's birthday. Happy birthday!
And of course today is Friday. Sweet sweet weekend bringer. This weekend has many good things on the horizon for us. I hope yours does as well.
Oh! And what color is your coffee? Mine is iced, but it's D.
Happy National Coffee Day. You can get a free HOT coffee at Dunkins with a purchase of a hot coffee. Pfft..I only drink ice coffee! Sort of mad at them about that but oh well. haha Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteMine is C...sometimes B when I get a little overzealous with the creamer (and I usually go back and add in more coffee once I drink some)
My coffee is anywhere from B-F. Today is also World Heart Day, National Biscotti Day, & Ask a Stupid Question Day. So many random days. No day should be ask a stupid question day...

I can get behind National Coffee Day -- though I also celebrate it every day. My coffee is currently room temp/D. A is usually a mistake and F is only acceptable if it's super-sweetened. Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the coffee pic. My husband gets me coffee from Wawa all the time and its so helpful to have that picture, he isn't a coffee drinker so he has no idea what he is doing. I am a C girl. B & D are acceptable and I would take A over E. I am not too picky though.

ReplyDeleteI'm more of a C girl. And yes, everyday calls for coffee. It doesn't need a special holiday because coffee is loved every day at my house. I have a cup of hot and then cold brew with my protein shake for a double dose of love. Happy Friday!

it's national something everyday but i can certainly get down with national coffee day (which i agree with you is *every* day!)

ReplyDeleteHappy National Coffee Day, or better known as one of the best days ever. I definitely celebrated by buying the biggest cup I could :) My coffee is often closer to "D".
ReplyDeleteI am not a coffee drinker but I was happy for all my coffee loving friends yesterday when the announced it was National Coffee day.
ReplyDeleteI used to be big into those National holidays when I ran the before/after school program at the child care center. Once in National Kazoo day I bought them all kazoos and gave them one. I waited until the parents came to pick up though I'm not stupid😉. "Happy National Kazoo Day have a Kazoo and make your parents proud, see you tomorrow " lol
I agree with National Hot Dog Day but grammar day ... I know I need improvement and it stops me from replying and blogging sometimes. I don't think it is possible I missed every grammar lesson in school but somehow it didn't connect in my brain. I apologize.

My coffee is D most days, and C if I feel extra decadent. And I can go a shamefully long time in between hair washings.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm at home, my coffee is B. If I'm out, it's C or D. I think coffee is the absolute best part of the day.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a C. I shattered my coffee pot while putting things away in the kitchen this weekend though, so I've been indulging in coffee shop lattes which are full of sugar, but I don't care. And National whatever days don't really do much for me, but I always get excited when I accidentally celebrate like ordering pizza without knowing it's national pizza day. I also love when restaurants give away free stuff on holidays.

KC hates them. weirdo. i made him eat one on our 'first date' though, that's true love right there. i don't drink coffee but my tea normally looks like B or C. but i don't think tea is as dark as coffee so when i add my milk it doesn't take as much to lighten it up.
