Winter goals 2016

Life According to Steph

I'm going to be short and sweet here. Tomorrow check back in to see how I did on my fall goals - spoiler alert: terrible.

1. Complete a 30 day challenge.

2. Get the tattoo on my back redone. I haven't had a needle on my skin like that in over 16 years.

3. Grounds for Sculpture.

4. Purge and reorganize entire house, little by little. Carry through fall and over winter.

5. Bake french bread. If it doesn't get done this time I am never allowed to put it on another goal list for the rest of my life.

6. Figure out the lower porch railing replacement/clean up at the shore.

7. Mutter Museum.

8. Book airfare for cruise.

9. Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge.

10. See a play on Broadway.

What's on your to do list this winter?

  3. I always love the variety of things you have in your lists-- it gives me such good ideas & I can't wait to hear what 30 day challenge you choose.

  4. Interesting list. Purge is always on my list. Slowing down is , too! Trying not to just snuggle in our living room every winter night. I thrive in the warmer weather. I need to write a list. Lights and Angels for all to be safe and sound all the way around in any precipitation that we have.
    Love. Your. Momma.

  5. Oooh, any idea about what 30 day challenge you're going to complete? Or which Broadway show??

I have one small tattoo on the inside of my ankle and I was just looking at it the other day. I got it almost three years ago but it's just a few black lines so I doubt I have to worry about touch-ups for a few years :)
    Good luck with the bread!

  6. Yay for cruising, hopefully somewhere warm! Seeing a Broadway show is on my list too. Which show? I'm looking into Beautiful or Waitress. Can't believe I lived so close to Grounds for Sculpture and never went. Have an awesome time and good luck with all of your goals!

  7. Haha, I remember that bake French bread goal, and was hoping you did it! Purge is my big goal for next season! Butttt it's also been my goal since last January, so we'll see.

  8. We went to the Mutter Museum about 12 years ago and I literally walked out because it made me nauseous. So, good luck with that.

We're taking Erica to see School of Rock on Broadway in the spring. I still need to pick which show I want to go to. It's been like 5 years since I've seen one. Too long.

I have no winter goals except to stay sane. Oh! One of my goals is to do a 30 day challenge each month. Well, it was one of my goals. Then I forgot about planning it out. We'll see what happens with that.

  9. I actually do hope you make the french bread because that idea has crossed my mind too and I always just assume that if you can't make it happen, I most certainly shouldn't bother either :)
Any particular 30 day challenge in mind yet?

  11. Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge is one of my favorite things to do in NYC. My favorite NY style pizza, Grimaldi's, has a restaurant located practically underneath the bridge on the Brooklyn side. I'll be interested to see what show you go to. I love Broadway shows.

  12. I want to lose 15 lbs, take on my new work challenges with gusto and earn back some of the respect I've kind of lost due to shitty managers the last couple of years, and convince Shawn to redo our pantry door.

  13. oh man. i haven't had a tattoo needle near me in over 10 years and i'm not sure i could sit through another one, or have them retouched. is yours a colour tattoo? mine are both black... or kind of green looking, actually.
i hope you bake your french bread lol
