2. Now taking applications. First in line: American politics. It is all over the place over here. The world has an intense interest in what we do.
3. Chicken butt.
4. Coming to Ireland in the off-season is awesome. I don't think we'd be able to do half of the things we've done in season. Driving here is definitely butt cheek clenching.
5. I love the proper Irish breakfast, and others have learned to as well since sometimes there's no lunch.
6. Castle steps, amiright? Not my happy place.
7. Living on the edge at the Cliffs of Moher yesterday on my Dad's actual 60th birthday.

I love all of your pictures! It looks like your'e having a wonderful trip. How's the trench working? I ordered one in black; waiting for it to arrive. Sláinte!
ReplyDeleteThose steps give me anxiety just seeing the photo, lol. It looks like you're having a fantastic time!
ReplyDeleteYikes those steps! I would be holding on to the wall.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you guys are having a great time! Can't wait to hear more about it!
It looks like you're having a wonderful trip!
ReplyDeleteOh it looks like so much fun! I miss it I went when I was in high school and I don't think I appreciated as much as I would now as an adult. I would love a proper Irish breakfast I was loved that!
ReplyDeletePlease continue to share pictures! A photographer's paradise. Pam :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having an amazing time!! I've been following along on Instagram :) That Irish breakfast looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to SUYB!
No blood pudding?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time so far! Minus the castle stairs. Never the castle stairs. I think I'd cry.
ReplyDeleteChicken butt made me laugh. Those stairs made my heart race, yikes! I hope that you guys are having a fabulous time!!!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at the chicken butt ha. Those stairs! Just looking at them I feel like I'd get vertigo.
ReplyDeleteThose steps look awful. If they went to the dungeon, I would exit that castle pronto.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're having an amazing time! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back.
Love!! How's the weather been there?
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your Dad! Oh stone spiral staircases are things of nightmare to me. At Warwick Castle there are whole series of really long ones on a one way track around the outer ramparts, so once you enter you're committed. I seriously nearly freaked out having gone up one, down another, up another and then realising I wasn't even halfway round yet. Nightmare.
ReplyDeletethose stairs are terrifying. the irish breaksfast looks SO good. yum. glad you're able to do so much, off season travelling is fabulous though we don't do it nearly enough.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Looks like you're having a great time! I always wanted to eat a full Irish after reading about them in the In Death books. One of the characters is Irish. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, yes. Your post takes me back to when I was in Ireland. The driving is nuts- skinny roads, opposite driver's seat, millions of roundabouts and signs in Gaelic! Haha! I loved the breakfasts there!! Those little sausages and the tomato slice every morning! The Cliffs of Moher and the Giant's Causeway were my favorite places to see!
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! And - there's no lunch? Really? I'm jealous you're getting away from the country and election news right now. Ya may wanna stay in Ireland...
ReplyDeleteAh, the Cliffs of Moher! So freaking beautiful! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!
ReplyDeletelol at Chicken butt!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys are having a fab time!!
I bet the whole world is watching our joke of an election.
ReplyDeleteThose steps do nothing for my vertigo!!!
That photo of you on the Cliffs in the purple with the green backdrop is my fav ever! I love purple and green together. Great planning.
ReplyDeleteThat sign rocks for so many reasons.
ReplyDelete2, I wish more Americans realized that. We don't live in a vacuum over here. What we do has far-reaching consequences, for better and for worse.
Love following along with your trip on Insta. Looks like you guys are covering great ground and doing Ireland right!
LOVE the ecard!
ReplyDeleteI can't do those kind of steps. The worst. I get dizzy.
Happy travels!
You're not kidding about the butt clenching driving. Ireland is the true test of any relationship. LOL Off-season travel is totally the way to go... and seems like the weather is being agreeable. I'm enjoying following along on your adventures. I was abroad during the 2004 election - it was fascinating. People are so much better informed than the average American... which is frustrating but not unexpected for me anymore. Enjoy it!!
ReplyDeletehey, glad you are having fun in Ireland :)
