Take me to the sea
The ocean has inspired many a book and poem, as well as artists from all mediums. There's something restorative about being beside the sea. Even though I dislike when people just post a shit ton of quotes all down their blog, today, that's exactly what I'm presenting to you made from my own photos Enjoy! I hope one speaks to you.
And then it was July.

Love the Mother Theresa and Isak Dinesen quotes. Life is just better with the sand at your feet and the salt water in your hair.
ReplyDeleteI have always been grateful to live rather close to the coast. Lake Michigan looks like an ocean, but there's nothing like the real thing, baby! Glad you are having a beautiful week.
ReplyDeleteLove, Your Momma
Your ocean pictures are beautiful and inspiring. Next time I'm stowing away in your suitcase. And bringing the pups.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's already July... craziness! Loving these quotes, I'm definitely happiest by the water. I've been loving all your gorgeous vacay pics on Instagram especially the beautiful sunsets :)
ReplyDeleteI love this... your pics are gorgeous and the quotes are so perfect. Into the Mystic is my favorite Van Morrison song is I had to pick one. Hope you are having a great vacay!
ReplyDeleteyour pictures are gorgeous and i love all the quotes (mother theresa's especially). it has been so long since i've been to a beach, so sad.

ReplyDeleteI love these quotes!! Your pictures are so amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love all the pictures, I could take a million beach pictures and it would never be to many.
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree that saltwater is the cure for everything! Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love all the pictures of the beach I can get my hands on! :) Also that JFK quote always makes me tear up. I definitely cried when the cruise line used it in their Super Bowl commercial this past year. I've always loved the ocean and feel such a deep connection to it and feel so restored when I take a walk on the beach, no matter how short.
ReplyDeleteLove this!I love a good quote and I love the sea. Your photos are spectacular. I often wonder how the people in the midwest live without access to the ocean. It is so therapeutic, so restorative. I hope your beach vacation is relaxing and recharging. We're headed to the beach on Friday. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI love your quotes, and I hope the beach trip is just perfect! Unrelated to this thread but related to your earlier beach pics thread, is Stephen competing with that one ridiculously handsome man that posts his man ponytail all over the internet? Because he should. That other guy kind of creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos & great quotes. I love being by the water. You can't be mad.
ReplyDeleteyup-- the ocean is magical. There is no denying that fact, ever. Every cliche about it rings right on true. Glad you're having a restorative time!
ReplyDeleteyou took the most amazing photos during your beach vacay and i legit thought: i hope she doesn't mind that i'm likely going to jack some of them for my blog (with credit, of course) ;)
ReplyDeletethe sea is really where i'm happiest. i can't believe these are from your own photos!
ReplyDeleteThe ocean and beach is definitely one of my favorite therapeutic places being a beach baby all my life. Beautiful photos and I could read quotes all day long.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these pictures. I also love Into The Mystic. What a great song.
ReplyDeleteLove a good quote post every once in awhile and I LOVE the sea!! I def feel it's a part of me and totally agree on it's restorative powers, and the restorative powers of nature in general. Glad you are enjoying your time there!
ReplyDeleteI like the one to remember that we are waves but also the ocean, which means we can accomplish so much we work together. At least that's what I interpreted it as! Look at you posting on vacation. Show off ;). I won't be posting during my vacation unless I have ones scheduled.
ReplyDeleteSo extremely jealous you are oceanside. I wish I lived closer to the beach or had a beach vacay on the horizon! Until then I'll have to live vicariously through your instagram posts. Love them!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are stunning! Seeing things like this inspires me to make an effort to take better photos (especially while on vacation).
ReplyDeleteIt's ashame it's not pretty there. :) Glad you're having fun!
