Skimmers, recommendations are in bold. Anything that's colored text is a clickable link. Aside from me, this month you get recs from Steph at Insert Classy Here and Steph from Not Entirely Perfect.
It's a triumvirate of Stephs. A Stephanie bonanza, if you will.
Both of these ladies are on my daily reads list, so do yourself a favor and check them out. Links to their blogs and social media accounts are beneath their photos.

1. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. It is the cheesiest show that centers around an Indiana girl with a strange background moving to New York City. Ellie Kemper's character is similar to her roles in the Office and in Bridesmaids, so if you like her there, you'll enjoy her in this.
2. A Library Card. Everyone should have one and use one. I feel stupid that I waited a year after moving to get one.
3. The 30 Day Green Smoothie Challenge. They run it 4 times a year and will send you an email each week with the next week's recipes and grocery list. It's easy and they all taste good.
4. Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh Eye Firming Treatment. You can find it at Target. This tiny bottle has made the little wrinkles around my eyes disappear. It smells good and feels good and you only need a tiny bit.
5. Pacifica Natural Minerals Lipstick. I have tried so many different kinds of lipstick and they all felt wrong. This was my last attempt and I fell in love.

2. Dandelion Root Tea. It smells and sort of tastes like drinking grass, particularly if you let it get too cool. But this stuff is wonder tea, so it's worth it - helps you naturally lose extra water weight (like icky bloating during that time of the month), cleanses your kidneys, protects your liver, lowers high cholesterol, cures hangovers....just do it, drink the tea.

3. EveryDollar Budgeting Tool. If you read my blog you know I swear by YNAB software for my finances. It's a game changer. But it does cost money. Dave Ramsey came out with a new budgeting tool called EveryDollar and it's totally free. It runs much like YNAB and it also has a phone app. If you're looking to get a handle on your finances, you'll love this option.
4. Tangerine sorbet champagne floats. I may be a die hard lover of winter, but I can get on board with spring/summer if it involves tangerine sorbet champagne floats. Also, there's nothing wrong with just buying the sorbet and pouring champagne over it, if you ask me.

Thanks to Steph & Steph for indulging my Recommendations from Steph Cubed dream.
What are you recommending this month?
I just recently started Kimmy. I'm not 100% sold on it (only 2 episodes in) but intrigued enough to keep watching.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I will try that Dog Walk app. And that eyelash curler. ONE DOLLAR I like the E.L.F. stuff. Amen, holler on the centering yourself. I love bluetooth because when I am driving and sending lights aka praying out loud, it does
ReplyDeletenot look like I am talking to myself, since I could be talking on the phone. All of you Stephs are ph's, too, instead of f's! Nice! Have a sunny day! Love,Your Momma
I'm so glad your mom pointed out that we all spell our names the awesome way :) Thanks for including me. I love these posts. I'm intrigued by that eyeliner. What do you use to put it on? I love the way eyeliner looks, but I also stink at putting it on. Happy Hump Day!
ReplyDeleteUnbreakable Kimmy is really funny! Love all of Steph's (NEP) recommendations. Downloading that app now and I swear by the Dandelion tea too. So good for you. I really want a Champagne float now! I need an eyelash curler it has been ages since I've used one, really need to get it together! Target run it is!
ReplyDeleteYes on the library card!!! Wish I had know about walk for a dog app last week!!
ReplyDeleteYes on the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt....It's so good! I find myself quoting it a lot throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteNeed to pick up those make up wipes next time I'm there. Couldn't agree more about the library card. I waited too long to get mine too.
ReplyDeleteneed to get on unbreakable kimmy since i finished daredevil and my life is now empty. i've put my library card/reading/books on hold (temporarily) to binge-watch daredevil followed by youtubing interviews of charlie cox because he's the most adorable thing.
ReplyDeleteWe binged on Kimmy when it came out and it was so cheesy but so funny!! Totally worth the watch! I need to take your cue and start meditating - in some way clearing my mind every day!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteChampagne floats? Yes, please!
ReplyDeleteKimmy Schmidt rocks! I randomly turned it on one night while Jared was gone and I just wanted something light-hearted to watch and I am hooked. When does season 2 come out?! Also- signing up for the 30 day smoothie challenge- I need some direction on smoothies, I always make the same couple varieties over and over again. YES to EveryDollar budgeting tool :) And I cannot believe there is an eyelash curler out there that works that's only $1!?! I will be purchasing on my way home TODAY- I need one.
ReplyDeleteI've done the dandelion tea before. It works so well! I'm going to have to look into the EveryDollar app. I need to get it together.
ReplyDeleteI so want a champagne float!! I totally love the ELF eyelash curler. It works so well and it's only a dollar. Best deal!!
ReplyDeleteI love those make up cleansers, take them with me everywhere! I also loved The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, I want to rewatch it now!
ReplyDeleteTechnically, Steph cubed is still Steph... but great recs!
ReplyDeleteAMEN to the library card!!!! and that walk a dog app sounds fantastic, I will be downloading that shortly.
ReplyDeleteA Stephanie bonanza, I love it :)
ReplyDeleteI had an eyeliner pot just like that from the drugstore, I cannot remember what happened to it... guess it's time for a new one!
There are people in the world with no library card?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could use an eyeliner brush without poking myself in the eye.
YES to your #5 about centering yourself! This is a must for me. I don't know why I am so late, but I just discovered elf cosmetics - their mascara is too clumpy for me, but I love their shadow! I'm also all about a $1 curler, so now I need to get one.
ReplyDeleteLove the Stephanie bonanza! The 30 day smoothie challenge made me remember that I need to add a nutribullet to my wedding registry, ha!
ReplyDeleteWill be on the lookout for those crackers. I love sea salt everything.
Ooo thanks for the finance app recommendation! I really need to buckle down when it comes to my online shopping lol. It's so bad. And a 30-day green smoothie challenge??? WOW that's some serious dedication right there!
ReplyDeleteThat Walk for Dog app sounds awesome!! What a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteAnd centering yourself daily is a great tip, I could certainly use more centering on the reg.
Oooh those champagne floats look delish! And I keep hearing about that show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and am super intrigued :)
ReplyDeleteInsert Classy's #3 and 4 - YEASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Steph your tip for centering yourself daily - LOVE IT!
these might be my fav recommendations ever. or maybe it's because I just really like stephs. I need to try one from all of y'all. including: the walkfordog app, that eyeliner, and that 30 day smoothie thing!
ReplyDeleteI love my library card.
ReplyDeleteI've been watching that Kimmy show. It's pretty funny.
I want that champagne float.
Everyone is watching Kimmy. Clearly I need to! And if it is cheesy, chances are Chris and I would like it. I am picking up that blueberry eye cream and that elf curler on my Target run tomorrow, yes oh yes I am! I am loving the Milani blush I picked up at CVS last week. I will be featuring it in my Friday favorites. $8.99 make you holla!
ReplyDeleteJust downloaded the dog walking app! I'm excited about that one. And the champagne floats sound amazing.
ReplyDeleteYes to the doggy app and desserts!! Will be doing that! Also need the yes to blueberries...will be picking that up!! I love dandelion root tea, it is a great de-bloating gem!
ReplyDeleteI never see any results with curling my eyelashes, maybe I am doing it wrong! I love smoothies and I usually end up getting on a kick and doing them every day for a while.
ReplyDeleteThe blueberry eye cream looks amazing, I wonder if I can use it for my squint lines between my eyebrows.
ok i need that yes to blueberries stuff, and i am downloading that dog walking app right now (what a great idea!). next time i hit up tj maxx i'll look for those wipes, and i am absolutely getting that eyelash curler. someone else said recently they hated it but they are a beauty blogger and... i am not. plus its $1 and i'm not spending $20.
ReplyDeleteThe blueberry eye treatment sounds like something I need to check out asap. I'm at the age where it beginning to be needed and I also need to get on board with making dog treats at home. Going to check out the Doggy Dessert Chef. Finally, I love face wipes but haven't found one that I love so Im intrigued to try your recommendation next time I need to purchase. Great recs Stephx3!
ReplyDeleteI 100% want to download the WalkforaDog app....Gus and Bandit need a little more strides in the hood!! So do I! Ha!! And anything from elf is a win in my book!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to come back to most of this because I am brain dead but Olivia and I just signed up for the WalkForADog app. I will get all of her friends to do it too. Teens, apps and dogs... win/win
ReplyDeleteThe dog walking app sounds like one of the greatest apps ever created. Every time I return home for a visit, I have a mile long cosmetics wish list. You've sold me on the mac fluid line. And, champagne sorbet floats? Uhm, yes, please.
ReplyDeleteHooray for multiple suggestions! I'm digging the smoothie challenge and the dog walk app. Zen is so, so important. Taking time for me to just decompress and center is something I've been focusing on.
ReplyDeleteYes to centering yourself and the 30 day smoothie challenge sounds great but maybe ambitious even for me and although I drink smoothies / shakes most every day.
ReplyDeleteAmen on the library card, thanks for the budget app recommendation, and boy do I need to find time to center myself these days. SO MUCH GOING ON IN MY BRAIN these days. I've been managing, but I feel like I'll totally snap at some point if I don't find a way to center.
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that Walk For a Dog app?!?! I think I'm gonna try it!
ReplyDeleteI just bought a new eye lash curler and hate it. I'm picking this one up and the yes to blueberries eye stuff on my next Target trip. I center myself by lying face down on my bed for a few minutes every day. Does that count? Haha!
