In case you can't tell from recent food preps and recipes, I'm cleaning out my freezer. I had kielbasa in there, so I dredged up this old favorite recipe from Michelle. Served over brown rice with a side of broccoli, this is a down and dirty meal. I like it. That's saying a lot, because I might be one of the only working women on the planet who doesn't like to throw a bunch of crap into the crock pot to ensure dinner is ready when I get home.

This sounds so good! I never bust my crockpot out during the week, only weekends. Weird. Love the Haiku, Tuesday are worse than Mondays.

ReplyDeleteI am all about the the fix it and forget it method of cooking especially at 7pm when I don't have someone asking me what is for dinner ;-)
This is seriously one of my favorite ways to serve kielbasa!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteKielbasa is good
ReplyDeleteI like mine with pineapple
but I prefer pork.
Love this! Will definitely try. Since I am Polish kielbasa is one of my major food groups:)
ReplyDeleteSteve would love to eat
ReplyDeleteYour orange meat recipe
But none for me, please.
My husband would love this!
ReplyDeleteThat haiku is one of your finest.
ReplyDeleteScott would love this and it's a good practice night meal. Quick, easy, and something we'd all eat. I never used the crock pot much when I worked. I knew women who would bring theirs to work and cook their dinner in the crock pot in their office. Efficient. But odd.
Your brother just discovered kielbasa. Just slices it down. I would have to taste in the orange sauce before making it.
ReplyDeleteLove the haiku, as always. I have a hard time not rhyming.
Safe travels

My husband would love this for sure. Kielbasa is a staple at any of his family's parties. I wish he would eat brown rice but I guess I could get those little minute rice cups and make him white rice. Thanks for the new recipe!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of kielbasa...but I am sold because of how easy this one is! Ha! Sounds delish too...thanks for sharing your kitchen crafts!! :)
ReplyDeleteAn interested blend of flavors that I'm sure came together just great! Would have never thought to use orange marmalade. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought to mix orange and kielbasa! That's so fresh!
ReplyDeleteYum, kielbasa is one of our favorites and that orange sauce sounds great. I'd love it over white rice!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I would like this since I'm a kielbasa fan but not sure about the orangey flavor. Recipes that are super big on citrus flavors don't do it for me that much, is the orange overwhelming. I love how with the rice and broccoli it's like a polish version of chinese food ha.
ReplyDeletei am not super big on the crock pot either!! i like the convenience, but i feel like it's very limited for us, especially gluten free or vegetarian meals. i have never had kielbasa! it looks amazing though. yum.
ReplyDeleteI am so terrible at using my crock pot. I really should but I don't.
ReplyDeleteI have never had kielbasa, sounds good!!
I love kielbasa! This sounds yummy.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in PA, kielbasa was one of those staples. They always had to force me to eat it, but I always thought it smelled really good when my mom would brown it in a frying pan.
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! I'm a huge fan of kielbasa, and I'm one of those working women who loves her crockpot. I think the sauce would be great with chicken as well (I'm imagining that it tastes a lot like the orange chicken I sometimes order from Chinese restaurants). I'll definitely have to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this ever but this looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteSounds yummy & easy- my favorite kind of meals. I always love those sausages.
ReplyDeletesounds delicious and easy, just how I like em
ReplyDeleteBahahha... I was just about to say: ANOTHER CROCK POT RECIPE FROM THE ONE BITCH WHO DOESN'T LOVE CROCK POT MEALS?! lol ;)
