February Recommendations

1. The Truth Podcast 
The Truth makes movies for your ears. Each podcast is about 15 minutes long and it's a little short story acted out. I have loved each and every episode I've listened to so far.

2. Neutrogena Hydro Boost
I'm really picky about mositurizers. I prefer gel ones to the cream ones because I feel like the cream ones make me breakout badly. The problem with most gel moisturizers is that they contain alcohol so they're drying my skin out at the same time as moisturizing it. Hydro Boost has been really good to my skin this winter, which has been dryer than usual.
3. Teavana Youthberry Brewed Tea
I normally prefer black tea but I decided to try a different flavored tea when I stopped by a Starbucks one day. This tea was delicious, a nice fruity flavor that wasn't overpowering, it's definitely worth a try!

4. Kar's Nut n' Yogurt Trail Mix
I grab a bag of this before I go to school on weeknights, it's one of my favorite snacks!

1. A 6 ft iPhone charger: Apple is a total asshole for putting out 3 ft cord chargers. I love this 6 ft one, and at $13.99 it's cheaper than the Apple regular length charger. It's Apple certified and it works. Boom.

2. Larabars: I like the cherry pie and apple pie. If it has to be pre-packaged, and let's face it, sometimes it does - Larabars are a good choice. They're all natural and made from 100% whole foods. If you're concerned, they're also gluten-dairy-soy free, kosher, vegan, and non-GMO.

3.  642 Things to Write About Journal. If you want to write more and often find yourself stuck at the start, this is a great journal to exercise your brain.
4.  Spiral veggie slicer by Native Spring. There are a lot of spiralizers out there. I saw this one on B Loved Boston and got it right after Christmas. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and most importantly for me, it stores in a drawer. I can't deal with another kitchen item that takes up room in my cabinets. It didn't hurt that it was only $13.

5. Cathay Home Microfiber Peach Skin Sheet Set. I put these on my Amazon wish list when I saw them on Another Clean Slate way back in June. Lori got them for me for Christmas and I wish I had more so they could always be on my bed even when a set was in the wash. They're super soft and feel like a hug, which you'd never think you'd get for $30, but you do. You do indeed.

    I was looking at the 642 Things journal at the beginning of the year & now it's on my want list on Amazon. As soon as I have enough giftcards from swagbucks to cover it I'm buying it.

    Thanks for the sheets recommendation! Someone by the name of Stuart the cat via being chased by Hawkeye ripped a whole in my favorites. I need new ones. P.S. I have things I need to mention, so if you ever need more recommendations, I have some for you to use :)

    I love the Blueberry and Lemon Larabars! A lot of people have said they love Cherry, but I have never found it here. I love my sprializer (different brand, same gadget) and love that it goes in a drawer, lol

    i need new sheets, so..... totally getting those. i have never tried a lara bar so i'll have to check those out too. i have a vegetti or something or other, i didnt want anything big either but i still havent tested mine because lazy.

    i love lara bars!!! i just wish they weren't so damn expensive for such tiny things. then again, errting is expensive in canada because i guess they have to justify using dog sleds to export them up here in this frozen tundra.

    My in-laws got me the 642 things to write about book for Christmas and I love it! Now I need to just transfer all the writing I've done from my head to actual paper. I've actually thought about starting a blog with my responses just to have them somewhere I can't lose.

    I have never eaten a Larabar.

    The spiralizer sounds perfect and good it doesn't take up a lot of room. I've been in the market for one since there's so many zoodle recipes going around the blog world and $13 is excellent.

    The 642 things journal has been on my wish list for a while. Maybe it's time to get it. If you need an air mattress, try a Frontgate EZ bed... as high as a regular bed, as sturdy, as comfortable, with no wobble. And it sets itself up all by itself and takes itself down. Awesome!     The Peanut Butter Cookie Larabar is my favorite. I didn't love the blueberry muffin kind, but I'll have to try some different kinds of fruits.

    I neeeed that longer charger. When I plug my phone it at work under my desk, it barely reaches ONTO my desk. SUCKS!

    I have to check out that podcast! I get Amazon Basics cords and chargers. You can choose your length and they are so much more durable. Apple ones break so fast! I also LOVE Larabars. Those two are my favorite. I also really like Blueberry Muffin.
