Ain't Nobody Love You Like I love You - Debbie Rae Designs Jewelry

Like I Love You by Justin Timberlake on Grooveshark
I love love. All kinds of love. I think we should celebrate the shit out of love every day. Things I love about love:
source
1. There's so much love to give and receive every day between you and the people around you: between you and YOURSELF (an often overlooked relationship), you and your parents, you and your children, you and your siblings, you and your best friends, you and your partner, you and your pet, you and your God. Sometimes you're born with shitty relatives, which is why it's awesome that you can have framily: the relatives you choose by choice. Even if your parents or siblings suck, love is out there for you.

2. No one gets to say who you love or how much you love someone. You can love whoever you want with your whole huge heart.
source
3. Love exercises your heart - it pushes your heart to be bigger to hold all the love that needs a place to live, to stay strong when it's been mistreated, to hold its muscles tight when it's bursting with pride, to keep a steady beat when it's full.
4. Love gives you a safe place to land - when you screw up, feel worthless, get kicked around by life - it's the love of your tribe that will prop you up until you can stand on your own two feet again.
5. Love gives you the opportunity to share with and give to others. It allows you to find joy in their joy. I love my Debbie Rae Designs jewelry and wear at least one piece every day (but am usually wearing two or three bracelets at a time). To celebrate the talent of my fabulous BFF Debbie and the launch of her new Debbie Rae Designs website and because ain't nobody love you like I love you, one of you will win a custom Debbie Rae Designs bracelet (you pick the bead and the charm) and set of earrings.

Cheers. From me to you with love. Good luck!

  1. I agree with you although I do celebrate it. Giving cards to the ones I love and my mom always gives me and my bro candy and a card. Of course now a days I'm pretty sure it's gonna be owl related. and they make some great owl vday stuff. hope you have a great day.

  2. I'm pretty excited to be sending my son to school with Spiderman valentines today (complete with temporary tattoos!) I think I'd choose a charm with "Dance" written on it -- that's my code word to remind me to lighten up! =)

  3. i don't celebrate vday - i think everyday should be the day you show your loved ones how much you care about them.

  8. Although I'm not a Valentine's Day gal, I've always been fascinated by love in the sense that like you said, you can't control who you love or how much you love them. It's pretty amazing when you stop to think about it. :)

  11. Beautiful tribute to Love. Love is the end all, be all. The more love you send out, the more you get back. It is not romantical, it is the pure joy of love! I love phrases like my heart bursts with love. I love perfumes with the word Love in their names. I will really love and be joyful if everyone, everything, everywhere is safe and sound and warm Especially all these people stuck on the PA turnpike for most of the day. Godspeed to melt, de-ice and warm up.
Carpe every opportunity to send out love every diem. And love = kindness.
    Love your MOMMA

  13. I love love! I just love celebrating it more on random days than vday. But, if you focus on love and not the commercialization of the holiday, it really is wonderful!

Those bracelets are so pretty! I like the hope bracelets! Whichever one you have on the very left is beautiful too!!

Hope you have a Happy Vday and a great weekend!

  26. I want a bracelet with wooden beads with a few colorful beads thrown in, and a charm that says "peace."

OK, now that that's out of the way.......VD means something totally different to me than it has in the past. I'm really just enjoying all the ways that folks show their love, like you said, in every relationship.

Happy VD to my favorite Philadelphian!

  28. I used to hate Vday. I thought it was a reminder to those who were single that you weren't loved. But, even before I met Terry, I learned that I was loved by a lot of people and not just family. I think it helped me in my relationship with the Mr. And, I love that we don't really go out of the way to celebrate the day. We give each other cards, because I love cards... but I think it's more for little kids. And I can't wait to spoil our little girl next year and show her just how much we love her! Thanks for linking up, and y'all enjoy the weekend. Hopefully your snow will melt soon!
